It lives in Settings, it is the only purchase in the app, and it buys nothing — no feature unlocks, and the app behaves identically whether or not anyone ever taps it. Payment is handled entirely by Apple. If a child uses this phone, Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases turns in-app purchases off at the system level, which turns this off too.
Somehow can take a photo of a room so you can see how it looks now. Those photos are written to the app's own storage: not the camera roll, not a server, not anywhere they can be shared from inside the app. Somehow never asks to read your photo library and cannot see what is already in it. Taking a photo is always optional, and the offer can be turned off permanently in Settings.
If the app fails, a technical report goes to a service that collects crash data for us. It carries the error and where in the code it happened — no name, no email, no account, and nothing anyone typed or photographed. It is the one thing that leaves the device, and the privacy policy describes it in full.
No, and it is not submitted to the Kids Category. It is written for adults who find starting a chore hard — the reading level is deliberately plain, but the subject is running a household.
A child using it would find a list of rooms and a suggestion to wipe a counter. Nothing in it collects anything about them, because it collects nothing about anybody. If a family wants to use it together, that works — there is simply no feature designed for it.
The date at the top moves when the page does. If a future version of Somehow adds anything that changes the answers above, the rating is re-submitted and this page is rewritten before that version ships — not after.
